It was a long time ago that I have written anything! I miss taking care of your furry babies, but sometimes you have to do what you have to do, and I had to take care of myself. But enough with that! The big news is - we have moved to Eslöv! So from now on, I "operate" from here ;) I revisited the walking part of my services, so if someone needs, I am there to be contacted! I have also included "running" in my services. Me on the bicycle, doggy besides me. That's an interes...ting one! Running is a fantastic training for condition, for weight problems prevention, for getting rid of excessive energy, and of course it is one of the most natural things for dogs to do! So give it a try! Maybe it is exactly what you dog needs. Some more ideas are still in the head so stay tuned! And visit my web page! Have a nice evening everybody! See more

Hello, my friends! The summer is here and a lot of us are picking up or starting to train our dogs. Or even train WITH our dogs! Agility, weight pulling, obedience or even biking and hiking like me and Dokker. The possibilities are truly endless! But here comes a "but" :D But there are some things to think about while doing that.... Here's a small, and most probably incomplete, list that can be useful to have in your head :) 1. Introduce new activity slowly and carefully. Observe your dog and adjust accordingly. Same goes for the activities that you pick up on after a period of rest. In this way you will be able to minimize the risk of trauma for your friend. Don't jump to big loads. Remember, that the musculature is the easiest to strengthen. It takes a lot more time to strengthen ligaments and tendons. And strengthening them is a crucial part of avoiding repetitive strain injuries. 2. In all the activities the warming up and cooling down are essential to the well-being of the dog. Every time you do train with your dog assign some time for a peppy walk before and more relaxing walk after the training. 3. Be cautious so your dog don't overheat! It's incredibly dangerous. Have water available if you train active or for a longer period of time! In the normal circumstances avoid using the cooling jackets or everything that dog can't take off by themselves. Warm muscles and a cold jacket are not a good combo and can lead to pain and muscle inflammation. Although, when the dog rests, the cooling bed can be offered. The dog can choose either it wants to use it. Don't train with the dog when it's hot. The more furry you friend is the lower is the temperature threshold. 4. Keep your cool and have patience, so everyone can have fun ;)

The weather was wonderful today and I had a great company to train dog meetings and have coffee with! Thank you, Cristel, for lovely discussions! I hope we can do it again and see more of you, guys!

Hej hej!
