The wall and roof of the building where the children stay has been torn. Food prices have increased dramatically as it is harder for vehicles from the nearby town to reach Kasensero fishing village. These two children need your help! Two siblings, 9 and 11 years of age, have recently lost their parents and are in need of your support. to buy medicines, food, clothes, everything. I will be visiting them in Kasensero village next week on September 25th and will personally make sure they get your contribution. New update! Funding from generous friends resulted in partial funding for much needed school infrastructure and some new school material and toys at August visit. More funding needed for poultry farm, potato field, fence around the school, a new dormitory and school fees for graduated students.

END OF SEMESTER REPORT MAY 2, 2018 FROM NAKYANZI IDAH - HEADMISTRESS: In our academic struggle to provide the basic education to the neediest children, we have been inflicted by below challenges: The ever increasing number of orphans under our school project care calls for more material shelter for instance we need to construct a separate dormitory since the current dormitories are meant to be classrooms. Inadequate funds to facilitate all our school /project aims and objec...tives. Lack of enough buildings to accommodate the ever increasing number of orphans. Inadequate academic sponsorship from junior, secondary, tertiary and university levels. Lack of a favorable transportation means to transport the school / project supplies amidst the poor road network. High rate of HIV/AIDS prevalence among the local people in the area hence making them loose hope for their future. Among other new findings, again, in case funds allow, the below ideas for sustainable food supply and protection for etc children would be implemented: 1. Setting a big yam, potatoes, maize & beans plantation on the school land. 2. Put in place a permanent fence along the school premises. 3. Carry out poultry farming at the school 4. Construction of the administration block.
