We had a long, sunny summer break and now we’re back at the ODI studio again. Still a little untamed and with way too long hair. It’s good to be back and we are eager to get going with some interesting projects. But hey, we follow the corona recommendations, bike, walk or run to the studio when we have to and do the rest remote. We hope you all are ok out there and wish you a good start of the autumn. Our own Senior Art Director and cofounder @ivica_p brought som greens and light to our studio the other day. It started as a fun Friday lab and turned into a hybrid between a shelf for plants and a wireless light source powered by a @philipshue RGB led strip. After 7 years in service it’s time for Prisdialogen.se to get an overhaul. This week we met up with the great folks behind the service, talked and listened in on what they had learned from interviewing some of their users. Normally we would have preferred to meet up IRL but since the pandemic is till present we had to use some of the remote techniques we found out to be working well for these type of activities. Here’s the set up we used. We used Slack to talk internally bef...ore and after. Google calendar with a Google Meet link to connect, schedule, invite and connect. (Our attendees were more used to using Microsoft Teams, that’s something we could have picked up on and adapted to.) Google Slides for some initial information,agenda and project plan. The online Whiteboard Miro for the workshop part were we collected insights and took notes on virtual Postits. We also have found IPad and an apple pen to be a joyful and intuitive way to walk through an interactive experience, screenshot and make notes. We then upload these screens onto our dedicated board in Miro. We are curious to hear what remote setups that works for you and how you bridge the gap between physical- and virtual workshops.
