Hi! Welcome to my course Logo Design Shortcuts Reveal - Beginner/Easy course - color scheme - slogan / tagline. My name is Stefan Steje. I have worked as an Art Director and Illustrator in Sweden for 38 years and now it is time for me to teach about some shortcuts that people in my branch don’t want to reveal. People are working hard to making things easy and there is lot of things that people can do without having any education what’s so ever. I think that’s very good. ... To make a logo from scratch is demanding and you must have a feeling of graphic form and colors to do that. Not everyone can do this. But most people can see if something looks good if they get several suggestions presented in front of them. This is how my course is build. Option 1: I show how you can choose a logo online and change it before you download it. Option 2: I show you how to choose from a number of already done logos that appear in front of you. You select and then download that logo. Then I teach you how to change the color, shape and font afterwards. As an Art Director you must think about color schemes, fonts and slogan. This is because it is important to have the same colors, fonts when you do other graphic designs as business cards, homepage etc. I teach how to do that in the most simplest way. How to find a nice illustration that you want to apply to your logo. To find a nice color scheme that you like and apply it to the logo and how to use the colors. How to find a slogan to use. You will also learn the difference between vector- and pixel graphics. It is important to know because a logo is used in different contexts and sometimes it is required that the logo is saved as a vector based file. I hope you will find my course easy and useful.
