Say hello to our colleague Aleksandra! - - - I come from Serbia where I started my programming career as a Full-stack web developer in an outsourcing company. The first programming language I encountered at the university was Java, but I quickly realized my love for JavaScript while trying to make a fan page for one of my favorite artists at the time. Three and a half years have passed since then - I still love JavaScript and everything around it. Apart from that, I love an...imals and nature, and in my free time, I’m trying to be artsy by playing the piano. I started working at Mirado in February 2020, and I’m currently on an assignment at Agria Vårdguide as a Full-stack JavaScript developer. Being a part of a project involved with helping animals feels like a dream come true since, as a child, I’ve dreamt of becoming a vet. In Mirado, you’re in a group of experienced, sharp, and fun people who are always willing to help and share their knowledge. Even though we mostly work on different assignments, I’ve always felt like there is a great support system whenever I need some guidance. Apart from getting help when I need it, there is always something new to learn through the company breakfasts and workshops, from languages and technologies to stocks and food. Everyone’s ideas and suggestions are being heard and acted on, and a great effort is being put into helping us be a great team and also improving as individuals and professionals. One more awesome thing to mention that puts the icing on the cake - company trips and monthly activities filled with sports and food!
