MMTC member Mark Edwards has published an article "The growth paradox, sustainable development, and business strategy" in Business Strategy and the Environment. In the article Mark discusses how economic growth is a two-edged sword, a paradox requiring a new way of working. Whilst wealth and employment are created by growing economies, the harmful impact on vital planetary systems this is having, is unprecedented. These systems are needed for our health and wellbeing, as wel...l as that of the planet, and are the global ecological base on which all economies depend. Congratulations to MMTC member Dina Tokbaeva and MMTC Director Leona Achtenhagen on the publication of their research into career resilience and how this can be developed over time. Their article, Career resilience of female professionals in the maledominated IT industry in Sweden: Toward a process perspective, describes a process model of career resilience in gendered professions, outlining different coping strategies that allow women to develop and enhance such resilience over time. The article was published in the journal Gender, Work and Organization (ABS 3) and is available to read here: https://onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/10.1111/gwao.12671 #mmtcju #womenintech #womenwhocode #careerdevelopment #digitalisation#careerresilience
