Last night my tenor Boldizsar Laszlo made his Swedish debut singing the leading role of King Gustavo in Verdi's Un Ballo in Maschera. I have always been proud of him when he has performed in such great opera as Manon Lescaut, Tosca, Boheme, Butterfly, Turandot and many other productions too many to mention here. But last night I saw that Boldi is not just a great singer, he is becoming a great artist too! Seeing him perform was one of the most memorable moments of my life as a voice teacher. Watching and listening to Boldi sing makes it all worthwhile!
