River Tour Båttur på älven 5 timmar Vi kör norrut från Kangos för att starta båtturen på Lainio älven. Älven rinner genom långa sträckor som är helt obebodda. Här får ni uppleva orörd vildmark. Vi följer älven nedströms och stannar på en fin plats för att äta lunch. På eftermiddagen blir vi upplockade för transfern tillbaka till lodgen.

Activities in SUMMER & FALL Summer under the midnight sun means the adventure never stops! With the midnight sun offering delightful sunlight all day and night, there is plenty of time to join activities, relax, and repeat. Go on a lovely hike through the forest or grab a bike and hit the trails. We have a wonderful network of trails for you to enjoy. Jump into the lake or one of the many rivers for a nice swim or just to cool off. Grab a fishing pole and try your hand at cat...ching dinner for the evening! In the fall, join us on a berry-picking hike where we will introduce you to all the berries you can find in Lapland and maybe we’ll even find some edible mushrooms. Spring-winter finally the sun takes hold Sping-winter giadálvi falls during March/April and brings both heat and light after several months of harsh winter weather. It’s an amazing sensation to finally greet the powerful rays of warm sunlight against your winter-worn face as freckles begin to break out, and listen to the dripping of the eaves and the chirp of the birds, preferably in unison. This is the season for intrepid snowmobile expeditions over the sea ice on mo...untain terrain, across the woodland or fantastic ski-tours with your jacket unfastened and a generous layer of sun cream on your face. To really get into the spirit, build a sofa out of the snow, roll out a reindeer hide, light a fire and barbecue some sausages. For the Sámi reindeer herdsman, the late winter is a busy period, as the reindeer herds are transported from the winter pastures in the woodland or coastal areas up to the high ground. Here, it’s easier to keep an eye on the herd and ensure the expectant females are left in peace and quiet ahead of the calving period.
