Joakim has received th...e honour of representing Sweden through exhibiting his installation at the UN building in New York during the internationally attended Ocean Conference 2017. The conference, which will take place this June is the largest ocean conference of our time. The worlds attention will be focused with anticipation on the results of negotiations and lectures between the 5-9th of June 2017. Through the Global Goals and the 2030 Agenda, the countries of the world have committed to creating sustainable development for future generations. Sweden and Fiji have jointly taken the initiative for a United Nations conference to support efforts to save the world’s oceans and achieve the Sustainable Development Goal on oceans, seas and marine resources Goal 14 of the UN 2030 Agenda. The UN conference will give impetus to the implementation of Goal 14 and enable more stakeholders to take responsibility for the future of oceans. Joakim Odelberg is one of our premier marine ambassadors. Joakim’s work extends far beyond Sweden’s borders. He works with several international organisations and foundations, such as Dr Sylvia E. Om ni vill kan ni gå in och lyssna på en låt jag gjort som är med i en remixtävling. Man kan trycka på gillaknappen om man vill men då måste man registrera sig och sån skit, så gör inte det. Men ni får gärna lyssna på den för jag är riktigt nöjd med resultatet och det blev en bra låt =)
